Havelock North Village Kids is situated in the heart of Havelock North Village in the sunny Hawkes Bay. 

We offer children a play-based program with a focus on the natural world, with sustainability practices woven into our daily curriculum.

A space that feels right for your child.

Our centre is calm, natural and welcoming. Children play & learn both inside and outside, connecting with the environment and each other. We have two rooms, one for birth to nearly three and one for the three to five years. We encourage all the kids to play together in the common spaces.

We offer:

  • Flexible hours 

  • 20 ECE hours for all 3-5 years

  • Support to fill in your WINZ application

The Tui room offers great spaces, both inside and outside, for the children to explore and investigate their environment. 

We use a primary caregiver approach for babies and toddlers to ensure a smooth transition from the home environment to our centre.

Teachers follow a play-based learning programme extending children’s knowledge and skills through their interests in a fun and supportive way.

Opportunities for children to develop the skills and attributes needed for a successful transition to school are woven into our programme.
